Capitol Hill Corner is a news blog. Its focus is Capitol Hill community news. It will endeavor to cover first and foremost, the activities of ANC6B, Eastern Market Commuity Advisory Committee, and The Capitol Hill Restoration Society. It will provide coverage of other community issues, including the activities of neighboring ANCs, commercial and residential development, activities of neighborhood organizations, and relevant aspects of local politics. Writing for a news blog is different from writing for a newspaper or magazine. I will correct or clarify any errors of fact upon request. It is my policy not to participate in the commentary on postings. Readers of the blog can judge postings after reading the ensuing debate. My goal is to ask the question of newsmakers: “Here’s what you’re doing, how do you justify it?” My point of view is a part of the questions I ask, and/or reflected in my judgment about how to frame postings. With respect to postings, it is my policy to permit all comments – no matter how critical – except those which are offensive and inappropriate. The latter category includes personal attacks and name calling. Capitol Hill Corner is edited by Larry Janezich, at ljjanezich@hotmail.com
What’s up with that star-crossed restaurant building on 13th St. SE on the east side of Lincoln Park, which used to house the Lincoln Park Cafe and Ninella? It’s being totally renovated for a new restaurant.
