Attorney’s Letter to DMPED on Lack of Hine Transparency Posted
by Larry Janezich
Attorney Oliver Hall’s letter protesting the lack of transparency on the Hine transfer and formally filing a FOIA for the Hine Land Disposition and Development Agreement (LDDA) is now posted in the Library at the top of this page.
Wow, that was an interesting read. Anyone who cares about this city should read this letter. It outlines the DMPED’s failure to share the final LLDA for Hine with the public, as well as the extraordinary lengths the DMPED went to in its efforts to avoid making public the final LLDA for another Stanton East Banc project, the West End Library. It would be great if the folks who thought anyone opposing some of the specifics of the Hine PUD was just an unreasonable old fart out of touch with modern planning ideas would read this letter.

Correction: The West End Library site project only involved East Banc, not Stanton. Also, I meant LDDA, not LLDA. I really shouldn’t post so early in the morning…
