Councilmember Allen’s annual Ward 6 Budget Town Hall, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, Watkins Elementary School, 420 12th Street, SE.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear from Ward 6 residents about their priorities for schools, parks, roads, etc. The event begins with Councilmember Allen laying out the budget as proposed by the Mayor, and explaining what his priorities are as the Council finalizes the budget.

Volunteer Capitol Hill is an annual event designed to showcase a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer service. The event benefits nonprofit organizations by helping them recruit potential volunteers as well as network with other nonprofits, and it benefits members of the community by helping them match their skills and interests to the needs of the organizations. This event is open to the public.
