Unless there’s a new owner, this establishment will underperform and fail just as Park Cafe and Ninnella did due to mediocre food, bad service, and high prices.
this building sold and there is a new owner with a new restaurant. excited to see it reopen..
Literally thousands of children and their caretakers/parents are right across the street from there every single day of the week and this place refuses to be the child friendly restaurant/breakfast spot that it should be. Hopefully the wine bar also serves juice boxes on Saturday mornings after soccer.
I have also always wondered why that place insists on being a somber white-tablecloth business.
Good point re opportunity to serve kids/nannies/parents market. Even during the weekdays there is surely strong demand for high-margin items like coffee, tea, and certain kinds of snack foods. I wonder if it is a zoning issue.
Saw the usual owner working on the renovations. New name, same crap.
